To mark Place des Arts’ 60th anniversary, the Entretiens arts et société series is giving four artists the opportunity to share their special memories of Place des Arts over the past six decades.
Multidisciplinary artist Michel Lemieux, former principal dancer at Grands Ballets Canadiens and Artistic Director of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec Anik Bissonnette, conductor Nicolas Ellis, and actor Denis Bernard will be joining us for the occasion. All four artists have trod the boards of our various performance halls or have created shows here. Denis Bernard is performing the lead role in "Salle de nouvelles" at Duceppe, Nicolas Ellis will be in the orchestra pit in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier for "The Marriage of Figaro" presented by the Opéra de Montréal, and Michel Lemieux is one of the artists featured in the "Pionniers numériques" exhibition, presented in collaboration with the PHI Centre.
A Q&A session with the audience will follow the discussion!
Moderated by Catherine Perrin.
