INDIGENOUS DANCE AND MUSIC EVENING

A final evening that will pulsate to the sounds of Indigenous artists. Join luminous Kanien'kehà:ka (Mohawk) dancer Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo, who will teach you a few Indigenous cultural dances and share the stories behind them.

Atikamekw singer-songwriter Pako, the group Maten, and rapper Shauit, both Innu, will join forces for a performance that is not to be missed, followed by DJ Geronimo!

The site opens at 6:30 p.m. with the activity and introductory lesson beginning at 7 p.m., followed by live music and a DJ starting at 8 p.m.

The TEMPÉO Dance and Music Festival consists of six festive dance evenings, each including an introduction to a particular dance style, Bollywood, Haitian, disco, 1960s, Latin, and Indigenous, accompanied by live music and DJs. Join in and get moving, on the Esplanade at Place des Arts, from September 14 to 16 and September 21 to 23!

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Introductory lesson with Barbara Kaneratonni Diabo
8 p.m.: Pako, Maten and Shauit & DJ Geronimo
