Three Viennese composers are the focus of this captivating program: Beethoven, whose highly innovative Violin Concerto will showcase the artistry of OSM Concertmaster Andrew Wan; Mozart, whose spirited “Haffner” Symphony is a thorough illustration of Viennese Classicism; and Webern, whose Passacaglia highlights the orchestra's various timbres, and who also illuminated the contrapuntal intricacies of Bach's six-voice Ricercar.
