MÉMOIRE DE L'AVENIR

From July 3 to September 24, 2023.

Organized by Art Souterrain and Art Urbain Montréal (AUM), "Mémoire de l'avenir" is a summer event of artistic displays in urban space. The exhibition creates a unique artistic dialogue between established artists and emerging artists. The exhibition takes place throughout the summer, from July to the end of September, on the advertising hoardings of Publicité Sauvage installed throughout the city of Montreal. Titled "Ces mémoires qui nous bercent" (These memories that soothe us), the 2023 edition explores the traditions, stories, and memories at the heart of the artistic practice of selected intergenerational artist duos.

We aim to stimulate reflection on our cultural heritage by providing an immersive artistic experience for Montrealers and visitors.
