ABOUT LA PETITE CABANE À SUCRE DE QUÉBEC

Carole and Mario Fortier are passionate professional maple producers, carrying on a rich family tradition in which maple syrup takes centre stage. They have built a close-knit team of people who share their passion for maple products and their desire to tell a large international clientele all about what makes Quebec’s terroir so special.

Maple sugar sculpture demonstration with chef Patrick Bouilly
March 17, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
March 18 and 19, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Come admire a series of maple sugar sculptures by acclaimed pastry chef Patrick Bouilly and his students from the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ). Watch them as they skilfully carve maple sugar into flowers, leaves and ribbons that slowly become edible sculptures.

A large piece, inspired by maple and spring, will take shape before your eyes: an impressive sculpture more than a metre tall. At the end of the experience, the public will be invited to devour the sweet carving!

ABOUT CHEF PATRICK BOUILLY
