Dates to come

The St. Lawrence Choir invites you to a wonderful concert: Psalmae. The three works to be performed include texts inspiring the listener with personal comfort and hope.

Psalm 121 by Canadian composer Imant Raminsh sets to music a well-known religious text: from beginning to end, the One who watches over us never sleeps. This is followed by Zoltán Kodály's Psalmus Hungaricus on the 100th anniversary of its composition, with the internationally renowned tenor John Mac Master as the psalmist and his people represented by the choristers. Finally, the Choir will perform Max Reger’s Psalm 100, a rarely heard choral symphony marked by festive harmonies and moments of immense beauty.

An opportunity not to be missed!
