THE WINNING FORMULA TO GET YOUR PROJECT OFF THE GROUND!
Information on the activity

Selling a project is more than just having an original idea. The creative part is essential to make your project attractive to the audience, but it is not the only thing a creative must focus on to attract interest to their story. What makes a project stand out and grab the attention of a producer or a director, a network or a distribution company, and how do we get investors interested in putting money behind our ideas? In an industry so centred on white stories, how are Black and racialized creators navigating and highlighting the uniqueness of their projects, making sure their stories are selected?
This panel will discuss how to professionally package your project in ways that will attract possible partners and support. Which necessary information it should include getting them on board and how to successfully present your project when it is ready to be pitched in the industry.
