We are pleased to announce the first Pop up Market of the Montreal International Black Film Festival entitled “Spotlight on Other Black Art forms.”
The Pop-up Market aims to feature talented Black Artists and highlight their original, artistic, and cultural works. Other Black Art Forms can include painting, hairdressing, fashion, decoration, jewelry, accessories, and traditional adornments.
Our vision is to recognize artisans as part of the arts, culture and entrepreneurship industries. The cinema industry, where all art forms come together can generate successful opportunities for artisans and companies.
A first at the MIBFF that will give exclusivity and opportunities to each artisan to expose their multiple talents to festival-goers and film lovers!
The Fabienne Colas Foundation is very proud to begin the 18th edition of the Montreal International Black Film Festival. A professional, non-profit arts organization dedicated to arts education and support for the creation, promotion, and dissemination of Film, Art and Culture in Canada and abroad.
