CAROLINE PIERRET PIRSON | PLUS JAMAIS SILENCIEUSES

From September 9 to October 22, 2022.

"Plus jamais silencieuses" is a documentary and participatory video installation centred on listening and freeing the voices of people who have experienced gender-based oppression. This project was inspired by the essential role social media played during the #metoo uprising. Powerful weapons against the culture of silence, these platforms have allowed voices that have long remained stifled to be heard and to express impressive amounts of anger and desires. Drawing from this movement, "Plus jamais silencieuses" contributes to the liberation of the words and faces of 19 Montrealers, aged 26 to 74, from 10 countries.
