L’Espace René-Lévesque à Montréal : le parcours d’un homme d’exception

Information on the activity

August 24, 2022 to November 10, 2022

Explore the life and times of René Lévesque, who made his mark on the history of contemporary Quebec like no one before or since.

Through an exhibition, video projection and short documentary film, (re)discover the life and achievements of the man and the political figure. This activity marks the centennial of René Lévesque’s birth on August 24, 1922. It is part of the Year of René Lévesque, an initiative of the Fondation René-Lévesque.

The event, curated by Daniel Fortin, is a collaboration between Espace René-Lévesque, which developed the core components, specifically the exhibition and the film; the Fondation René-Lévesque; the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership; Place des Arts; and the Université du Québec à Montréal. It is also part of the Moments du cœur de l’île Initiative.

L'Espace René-Lévesque à Montréal : le parcours d'un homme d'exception was supported by the Gouvernement du Québec.
