The OSM and Rafael Payare perform Gustav Mahler’s Third Symphony, which “begins with inanimate nature, and rises steadily to the love of God,” in the Austrian composer’s own words. Bringing together mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung, the OSM Chorus and a children’s choir, the longest of Mahler’s symphonies concludes the 89th season in sublime glory.
