Lulling Time

A gentle immersion in the world of lullabies, this participatory auditory installation invites visitors to take a journey aboard a rocking chair. Listen to the whispers and be carried away by the echoes of childhood and the sounds of over 1,300 lullabies in 70 languages. A custom station will be created for Esplanade Tranquille, using the testimonials gathered during a recording session on May 5 and 6.

Audience participation is also welcome for recording sessions on May 5 and 6, when the Westfalia studio of the Lulling Time will open its doors to everyone willing to share childhood memories related to games and reflect on the role of debate in public space. Your testimonials will give life to a new array of rocking chairs that will be set up on May 12, 13 and 14 as part of the Lulling Time installation.

Come alone, with co-workers or your family! The recording session (maximum three people) will take less than ten minutes of your time.
