CONFLUENCES

Information on the activity
Free !
Taking as its starting point landmark declarations of river rights in Québec and Colombia, Confluences brings together works by Sebastián Calfuqueo, Carolina Caycedo, Mei-Kuei Feu, Genevieve Robertson and Daniel Torres that engage struggles for water across hemispheres and legal systems. The exhibition negotiates between river rights and rituals, bodies of water and territories, as well as ongoing histories of hydrocolonial violence. The fluvial dialogues staged in Confluences serve as a provocation to unsettle and reimagine rivers.
