YOUTH AND CREATIVITY: FROM MOZART TO THE OSM COMPETITION

Information on the activity

Dates to come

At only 18 years of age, in 1774 Mozart composed his Symphony no. 29, one of his last Salzburg symphonies before he embarked on a series of tours to Germany and France. This work revisits a more subdued style of orchestration and shows Mozart’s creative genius at its best, from the landmark first movement to the spectacular coda of the fourth.

A program performed by the winner of the 2021 OSM Competition (Voice Category) will complete this concert under the direction of Rafael Payare.
