QUEER TECH'S PRIDEHACKS
Information on the activity
Dates to come
PrideHacks is QueerTech’s annual hackathon designed to gather LGBTQ2S+ people and their allies to solve pressing tech issues for LGBTQ2S+ not for profits.
It serves local LGBTQ2S+ focused nonprofits that have a technology need that they are unable to solve due to a lack of resources and/or expertise. Last year, PrideHacks served 8 nonprofits, developed 9 technology solutions, and over 60 attendees donated 500 hours. It was executed by a team of 2 members and 5 volunteers.
PrideHacks empowers organizations with technological solutions that enable them to better serve their communities, increase their reach, increase efficiency during these uncertain times. The event will take place virtually over 3 days and engage the LGBTQ2S+ community and its allies.
