You asked for it, we heard it... We understand you, after all these months, to want to gather to sing the victory of our Montreal Canadiens! This will be possible starting Friday night in the Quartier des spectacles! Let's celebrate and be proud while respecting public health measures!

ACCESS

How do I get to the Quartier des Spectacles?

There are several options: by metro (3 stations*), by bus (ten lines), by bike (several Bixi stations and free parking is available at the Saint-Laurent metro).

*Place des Arts metro station: Please note that de Bleury’s North exit is closed, as well as, the tunnel connecting the Jeanne-Mance entryway and Place des Arts. In that regard, Place des Arts metro station does not provide access to people with restricted mobility.

I’m taking the metro to the site. Which station and exit should I take to get to my assigned zone?

In order to ease your travel, limit contact and ensure physical distancing, we suggest these routes:

Zone A

Place des Arts metro station, de Bleury exit. Once outside, go South on de Bleury St. until you reach Sainte-Catherine St.

Zone B

Saint-Laurent metro station. Once outside, go West on de Maisonneuve Blvd. until you reach Saint-Urbain St.

Zone C

Saint-Laurent metro station. Once outside, go West on de Maisonneuve Blvd. until you reach Saint-Urbain St. and then go South to 1444 Saint-Urbain St.

Which streets will be closed to traffic?

The area comprised between Saint-Laurent Blvd., Saint-Catherine St, de Bleury St. and Président-Kennedy Ave. are closed to traffic. Saint-Urbain St. will remain accessible to allow entry to Complexe Desjardins, Place des Arts and Indigo parking lots.

Can I join someone in a different zone than mine?

No, you must stay in your respective zones for the whole duration of the screening.

What time should I arrive at the site?

We recommend that you plan to arrive in advance before the start of the game so that you don't miss any of the broadcast. The site opens at 6pm on the day of the game.

Which entrance should I use?

You must respect the entrance assigned to your respective zone: A (orange), B (red) or C (blue). Please note that a security check will be performed at each entrance.

Is the site accessible to people with restricted mobility?

Yes, the entire site is accessible to people with restricted mobility. However, only Zone C (blue) offers adapted restrooms, a reserved space and a private access from Saint-Catherine St.

Are there any spaces reserved for people with restricted mobility?

Yes, Zone C (blue) offers a space dedicated to people with restricted mobility, including adapted restrooms and a private access from Saint-Catherine St.

TICKETS

Is there a fee for the event?

No, the event is free. You must however obtain a ticket on the online ticket office.

Do I need a ticket to watch the games in the Quartier des Spectacles?

Yes, you must have a ticket. You will be denied access if you do not have a ticket. Please note that tickets are available in digital format only.

When will tickets be available?

Tickets will be available 24 hours prior to the start of each game (at 8pm) on the online ticket office.

Can I get a ticket on site?

No. You must reserve your ticket online at the online ticket office. Please do not enter the site if you do not have a ticket.

How many tickets can I get?

A maximum of 4 tickets per person.

Do I need to get tickets for my children?

Children 5 and under do not need a ticket to access the site.

Do I need to print my tickets? Will hard tickets be sent?

Tickets are available in digital format only. You don’t need to print them, you can show them on your mobile phone at the entrance. Please note that printed tickets will not be accepted.

Can I choose the zone in which I want to attend the broadcast?

Yes, you can choose the screening zone (Zone A, B or C) when booking a ticket. Please note that only Zone C offers a space reserved to people with restricted mobility as well as adapted restrooms and a private access from Saint-Catherine St.

Will I be assigned a seat?

No, there are no assigned seats. You must go to the zone A, B or C indicated on your ticket.

I am at the gate and have a problem with my ticket. Can I get help on site?

Yes, customer support is available at the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Jeanne-Mance St., in front of the Musée d’art contemporain. Please note that you cannot purchase tickets on site. Please do not enter the site if you do not have a ticket.

Do specific criteria apply for the allocation of tickets? Be residents of Montréal, be vaccinated, etc? If so, how will you ensure that these criteria are met?

No, there are no specific criteria for allocating tickets. However, please do not purchase a ticket or go to the Quartier des spectacles if:

• You have tested positive for COVID-19;

• You have symptoms related to COVID-19;

• You have been in contact with someone positive for COVID-19;

• You have traveled internationally in the last 14 days;

Will measures be taken to prevent resale of tickets?

Since tickets are free, the ticket resale option is disabled from the ticketing platform. If you can no longer make it to the broadcast, please submit a reservation cancellation request through your account on the online ticketing office to make room for other guests.

How many screenings will take place simultaneously? Inside or outside?

Four screens will broadcast the match, in three separate zones (two screens in Zone A). The broadcast will take place outside, on the site of Quartier des spectacles.

COVID-19

Do I have to wear a mask or face covering on site?

It is recommended that a mask or face shield be worn. The social distance of 2 meters (6 feet) must be respected.

What health measures are in place?

We are working in close collaboration with public health and the authorities. The Quartier des Spectacles site is divided into three zones (A, B or C) each welcoming a restricted number of people. Each zone is fenced and has entrances and exits.

Hospitality and sanitary agents are following very strict sanitary protocols and will be on site to ensure:

  • Respect for physical distancing;
  • Frequent cleaning of facilities;
  • Cleaning of frequently touched surfaces: trash cans, tables, benches, rest stations, etc.;
  • Picking up trash;
  • Public awareness of sanitary measures and the wearing of face coverings.

What rules do I have to follow?

Please postpone your visit to the Quartier des Spectacles if:

  • You have tested positive for COVID-19 ;

  • You have any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 ;

  • You have been in contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 ;

  • You have travelled internationally in the last 14 days.

The social distance of 2 meters (6 feet) must be respected at all times. It is recommended that a mask or face shield be worn.

Are statement of offence or expulsion from the site planned for the recalcitrant?

If the instructions are not followed, the recalcitrant risk expulsion from the site. Statements of offence may be issued by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal if deemed necessary.

USEFUL INFORMATION

How do assigned zones work?

When booking a ticket, you need to choose between three zones (A, B or C), which have dedicated entrances, exits, restrooms and bar service. In order to comply with the sanitary measures in place, you must go to the area listed on your ticket and stay there for the duration of the broadcast.

Upon arrival on site, please report to the entrance to the area indicated on your ticket. Our agents will then direct you to one of the six sections (numbered 1 to 6), where you can watch the game. Please stay in your assigned section for the duration of the broadcast.

Are there restrooms available on site?

Yes, restrooms are available on site, in each zone.

Can I bring my own alcohol and/or cannabis?

No, you cannot bring alcohol or cannabis on site. However, you can buy alcohol on site in the perimeter. The consumption of cannabis is strictly forbidden on the premises.

Can I attend the show with people from another address than mine?

Yes, but you must respect physical distancing with these people and wear a mask.

Will measures be taken in the event of rain?

No, the broadcast will take place rain or shine.

Will security be provided on the site to avoid any overflow and potential vandalism?

Yes, security will be ensured at all times on the entire site with 50 security guards and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal.

Who provides the staff ? City of Montréal? Quartier des Spectacles Partnership?

The staff hired to ensure the smooth running of the screenings is provided by the City of Montréal (i.e. SPVM), the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership and firms hired by the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership.

Will the sale of products be allowed on site?

No, the sale of products is prohibited on site. Only the sale of alcohol by the bar services of the Quartier des spectacles is permitted.

Are minors allowed on site?

Yes, minors can attend the broadcast.

Can I bring food on site?

Yes, you are allowed to bring food on site. However, only light meals are allowed (snacks, sandwiches, etc). Cooking on site or bringing glasses, dishes, glass or plastic containers is prohibited. Please note that all liquid containers will be inspected.

Can I bring a cooler and a folding chair?

Coolers are not allowed on site, but you may bring your own folding chairs.

Will media be able to attend the event? Can they take photos? Is there a dedicated area for them?

Yes, media can attend the event and will have a designated area on site. Any request for coverage or images must be sent in advance to Mélanie Mingotaud, public relations: melanie@mingo2.ca

Will a medical team be on site if necessary (fainting, injuries, etc)?

Yes, a medical team will be available to assist spectators if needed. contenants de plastique et de verre.
