LES 9

Les 9, created by the cellist Vincent Bélanger, is an ensemble of young and very talented Québec musicians, all accomplished professionals.

For their first performance at Place des Arts, Les 9’s cellists embrace originality and universality in their exploration of the repertoire. Discoveries abound! Ageless classics are revisited or adapted, along with whimsical modern music, in addition to an original composition.

The various themes address contemporary issues that concern us all, with the intent to reach new audiences: “The power of projecting ourselves beyond what divides us.”
