TRACE & HORS MÉDÉE

Information on the activity

Dates to come

Festival Accès Asie is pleased to present two readings of excerpts from plays that will be broadcast online on Thursday May 27 at 7 p.m. First, Jeff Ho's TRACE, an exciting story about family uprooting, and Hors Médée, a revisited classic by Tamara Nguyen.

- TRACE is the story of a Chinese family following in the footsteps of four generations while their homes and identity are threatened.

- Hors Médée is a rewrite of the myth of Medea where the characters have seen their tragedy repeat itself over the centuries like a vicious cycle. Now exhausted and raw, Medea and Jason try to escape the mythical history that binds them together, inevitably ending in the murder of their children.

Free online event on Facebook Live.
NOTE: The reading of Hors Médée will be in French.
