The SAT presents two immersive experiences in the Satosphère.

LATENT SPACE
An audiovisual immersive composition by MONOCOLOR.

In Latent Space fine lines weave virtual spaces around the viewers. The architecture that manifests is highly fragile, the space grows, shrinks, collapses. The acoustic dimension is also deeply spatial, slowly morphing soundscapes float around the dome, enveloping the observers in sound and image. The omnipresence of the virtual realm is transposed into the physical space of the dome to unmask the often-proclaimed boundlessness of digital space. The work tests and investigates the spatial effects of the dome, which serves as a metaphor for the virtual net that always surrounds us. The work has been awarded the New Face Award of the Japan Media Arts Festival.

OCULAR OSCILLATION
An immersive and perceptive experience by Diagraf, Jean-Sébastien Baillat and Alain Thibault.

An immersive and sensory experience, Ocular Oscillation explores the perceptual disorders caused by involuntary eye movements. The work recreates various involuntary oscillations one might perceive as the result of an illness, an intoxication or an accident. Ocular Oscillation is the meeting of dreamy and brutalist architectural spaces, intercepted by glaring, oppressive, and strobing 2D visuals in solid colours. This encounter between two universes creates a hypnotic, vertiginous experience. Placed in this environment, the body loses all of its physical points of reference.

- From March 30 to April 24, Wednesday to Saturday, at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
