MUSIQUE BAROQUE POUR LE TEMPS DES FÊTES
Information on the activity
Dates to come
To brighten the holiday season, the OSM presents excerpts from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and Handel’s Messiah, two gems of the Baroque repertoire. Corelli, that grand master of the concerto grosso, sweetly depicts the mystery of the Nativity, while Bach’s concerto is reminiscent of a pastorale. This will be Baroque music specialist Jeannette Sorrell’s first engagement conducting the musicians of the OSM.
