Il y a 50 ans le 18 septembre 1970, le plus grand guitariste de tous les temps, James Marshall Hendrix dit « Jimi » mourrait.
Un an auparavant, le lundi 18 août 1969 au petit matin, Jimi Hendrix et son nouveau groupe Band of Gypsys montait sur la scène du Festival de Woodstock. Pour transcender à jamais « Star Spangled Banner », l’hymne national américain.
