Authentic. Spirited. Passionate. Twenty years ago, Senaya set foot for the first time on the stages of the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique. Her freedom of spirit, charisma, vivacity and fresh presence conquered fans of blended musical styles and still retain their hold. The Club Balattou is naturally where she is returning with the album she is working on, Soûlkreôl Volume 1. In her irresistible grooves, with her warm voice that can be gentle or incisive, she lustily affirms the depth of soul of her Senegalese and Guadaloupean origins.
