Q&A WITH THE AMBASSADORS ROSIE BOURGEOISIE AND P.-O. BEAULAC-BOUCHARD
Rosie Bourgeoisie is a Montréal born and bred superstar becoming one of the most recognizable burlesque performers, an outspoken queer activist, and plus-size model. Rosie has graced the stages of international festivals, including the Fierce! Queer Performing Arts Festival, Bagel Burlesque Expo and Toronto International Burlesque Fest. They have also produced cabarets for Fierté Montréal and Festival Phénomena. Bringing their passionate energy and imaginative presence to the stage, Rosie combines femininity with queer sensuality to inspire people of all genders and body types to embrace their power and beauty.
Pierre-Olivier Beaulac Bouchard was born in Lac Saint-Jean before moving to Montréal. Born deaf in a hearing family, he communicates in LSQ and ASL. His active immersion in the Deaf and LGBTQI+ community gave him a springboard in his artistic career. He is currently pursuing his artistic career and professional training at L-Expression where he is carrying out several projects as a multidisciplinary artist mastering theatre, dance, song, improvisation and art on canvas.
