KENT NAGANO AND THE OSM: RAVEL’S BOLÉRO, ONE LAST TIME
Information on the activity
Dates to come
Directed by Kent Nagano, the OSM performs two of its greatest successes: the bewitching Boléro by Ravel showcasing each section of the Orchestra, and Debussy’s poetic Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. The OSM’s virtuoso Concertmaster Andrew Wan plays the Concerto “Adrano” specially created for him by Montreal composer Samy Moussa in 2019 and performed at the Maison symphonique.
Debussy: Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun (9?)
Samy Moussa: Violin Concerto, “Adrano” (15?)
