Information on the activity

A work by Caroline Robert and Vincent Morisset (AATOAA)

Habitat is a fabulous, luminous diorama. Plants, animals and humans coexist in this miniature universe that can become giant if you look closely. A house travels through landscapes and time. It wonders what type of home it could be in each world.

BIOGRAPHY

Vincent Morisset and Caroline Robert are a couple and hail from digital studio AATOAA, which is known around the world for its narrative works that blend craftsmanship and technology. Every one of their projects invites visitors to become participants through experiences that put our relationships with others and our outlook on the world around us into perspective. Vincent’s and Caroline’s fascinating world takes different forms (interactive videos, public installations, virtual reality and net art). With Habitat, they set out to explore the miniature universe for the first time. Their past projects have included artistic collaborations with Arcade Fire, Louise Lecavalier, Skrillex and Sigur Rós. Their works have been presented at the Venice, Sundance and SXSW festivals as well as at the Japan Media Art Festival. They are the recipients of an Emmy, a Grammy and several Webby awards.
