17:00 | Cardinal Jazz Quartet
The Cardinal Jazz Quartet, composed by Montreal guitarist Christian Cardinal, Richard Gourdeau on saxophone, François Gervais on double bass and Michel Massicotte on drums, performs great jazz standards. The Cardinal Jazz Quartet performs in several café-bistros and jazz bars in the Montreal and Laurentian area.

19:00 | Mike Gauthier
Guitarist Michael Gauthier's expressive approach is consistent with Aaron Copland's philosophy: "Music should be as simple as possible but not simpler." A self-taught improviser, Gauthier's prowess as an artist has allowed him to play with many internationally renowned musicians. His compositions incorporate dancing rhythms, lyrical conversations and a touch of blues. Mike has been a jury member for the Canadian Alcan Jazz Competition and the Quebec Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

22:00 | Balkan Kafana
With nearly a hundred shows to his credit, Balkan Kafana covers a repertoire of folk and traditional songs from Eastern European countries. The instrumentation is modern, the rhythms catchy and the original arrangements. Balkan Kafana was founded in 2011 by keyboardists Vytautas Bucionis Jr., Borislav Stanev, and guitarist Horia Vlad Guzu. In winter 2012 violinist Gabriel Vasiliu joined the group, followed in 2013 by trumpeter Camille Gendreau and in 2015, drummer Jordan Markov (Soleil Tzigane).
