KARIM DABO

Karim Dabo: a superb voice, deeply committed Wolof lyrics, and alluring Afro-pop melodies. A percussionist like his Senegalese father, he’s traded his djembé for a guitar to transport us into his world music universe. In this all-African evening, he’ll be accompanied by the exceedingly gifted Mauritian-Senegalese composer and multi-instrumentalist Daby Touré, Côte d’Ivoire storyteller and musician Gotta Lago, Congolese jazz-reggae singer Joyce N’sana and Burkina Faso reggaeman William Atchouellou, alias Bobo.
