ALEXANDER KLUGE: TEXTES ET FILMS

The reading group « Alexander Kluge » will discuss texts and short films by German literary author and filmmaker, television producer and theorist Alexander Kluge (* 1932). The main topic is the phenomenon of coldness. The basis for the discussions are the films and stories compiled on Wer sich traut, reißt die Kälte vom Pferd (Who Dares Unseats the Cold, DVD and booklet, Filmedition Suhrkamp 2010).

The main theme of this meeting will be Alexander Kluge's talks with (real and false) experts and their staging.

A trilingual glossary will be developed in the course of the four sessions.
