Marie-Celine is a Montreal based dancer, craft - maker, actor and Aboriginal cultural advocate. Originally from the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach, she grew up in the Cree Nation of Chisasibi, where she learned about Cree traditions, language, and teachings that still connect her to the land of Eeyou Istchee. She has performed across the country with traditional dancing and storytelling theatre, and has also travelled to many destinations, internationally, including France, Spain, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, and the U.S., showcasing Indigenous dance and culture, in addition to performances with award-winning artists including Indian City, A Tribe Called Red, Cris Derksen and DJ Shub.

Though she is passionate and dedicated about her career, Marie-Celine continues to grasp every opportunity to pass on her knowledge, teach youth, and continue to be involved artistically and culturally.
