Fans of the performing arts will be thrilled to meet renowned author, actor, producer and director Robert Lepage. Internationally acclaimed by critics, his original works have reinvented the standards of scenic writing. A talk exploring his innovative scenography, touching on both set design and costumes.

A multitalented artist, Robert Lepage is equally skilled as a playwright, actor, producer and director. Internationally acclaimed by critics, he creates and brings to the stage original works that have changed the standards of scenic writing, namely through the use of new technologies.

His most notable works include: for the theatre: La Trilogie des dragons, his solos Les Aiguilles et l’opium, La Face cachée de la Lune, Le Projet Andersen, and 887; for opera: La Damnation de Faust, Le Rossignol et autres fables, the Der Ring des Nibelungen cycle by Wagner and L’Amour de loin; his multimedia works The Image Mill and The Library at Night; the shows The Secret World Tour and The Growing Up Tour for Peter Gabriel and KÀ and TOTEM for Cirque du Soleil.

Robert Lepage has won numerous awards, including the Legion of Honour, the Stanislavski award, the Prix Europe, the Governor General of Canada award, the MIT Eugene-McDermott award and the Glen-Gould award. He was also named Compagnon des arts et des lettres du Québec in 2015.

For the 4th consecutive year, Stéphane Le Duc resumes his role of facilitator and commissioner of FMD Talks. An avid follower of the fashion industry, he carefully selected key players of the fashion and design worlds to be part of this great event. Mr. Le Duc is widely known, having worked for more than 25 years as a TV host, a producer and a fashion and culture reporter. We owe him Perfecto, a show that aired in 28 French-speaking countries. He currently holds the title of Editor-at-large at Dress to KILL magazine.
