IMAGINARIUM | POESIS 3

François Grisé’s relational art performance Imaginarium – POESIS 3 will be settling in at the Promenade des artistes du Quartier des spectacles this upcoming August 7th to 11th.
For 45 hours, 9 hours a day for 5 days, François Grisé will be seated in a 4 person glider swing at the heart of the Imaginarium, an installation designed collaboratively with Aedifica architechtural firm. He invites the audience to sit with him, free of charge, in order to respond to Imaginarium’s questionaire. Respondants thus take part in his extensive performance survey. Exploring themes of presence, embodiment, genealogy and memory, the questionaire takes a simple yet amazed look at our existence. The audience will not only respond to the questionaire, they may also – by virtue of the installation’s sound and graphic design – hear and see the responses of previous participants. From August 7th to 11th, a team of emissaries will also be present to guide the audience in its journey through Imaginarium.
