The second half of a diptych with GROUND, REBO(U)ND is an architectural video projection that portrays and magnifies bodies to the point where they escape gravity. Presented to passersby, the piece reveals the moment of suspension, the ephemeral instant where the dancer is floating between forward momentum and falling, between freedom and loss of balance, a split second when the body appears to defy time and space.
Part of a diptych with GROUND, a stage performance for five dancers working against the constraints of gravity, rebound and coordination, the piece reveals the shared urges and drives, the dynamics and the unconscious interdependence of a social body. Presented from October 24 to 27, 2018 at Agora de la danse.
