With his go-to collaborators Carlo Birri (bass and vocals) and Sylvain Plante (percussion and vocals), Ivoirien guitarist Gotta Lago’s new project is a return to roots, but it’s anything but frozen in time or space. With a fine sense of melody and a rebellious attitude, he and his instrument freely explore genres like the blues and hip-hop.
