On Thursday, Les Escales Musicales will unveil the current face of world music created in Quebec.

The duo of African-Canadian musicians Iri Dimako and Sarah-Judith Hinse-Paré was formed in Montreal in 2016. Within months, they’d won a silver Syli award for world music, at Nuits d’Afrique, for their powerful, refined and disciplined original compositions. / Two African voices whose soul and jazz stylings come together around a guitar and a violin.
