Dates to come

Gilles is a foreman on a construction site in the Far North, where he suffers a serious but mysterious injury. As his wife, Carmen, spends time at his bedside and starts investigating, she meets one of her husband’s Inuit friends, Noah. Together, they set out onto Frobisher Bay to confront their respective tragedies, only to discover that they’re connected. Beautifully lit by Michel La Veaux, Iqaluit explores the wild and mysterious landscapes of the Far North. It’s a meditative drama deftly woven by director Benoit Pilon, with a stoic Marie-Josée Croze and Natar Ungalaq, who starred in Pilon’s Ce qu’il faut pour vivre.
