THE WIZARD OF SPEED AND TIME

THE WIZARD OF SPEED AND TIME

Information on the activity

May 2, 2014 | 20 H

When originally conceived, the idea behind the Alcoholic Cinema was to watch awesome b-movies and drink a lot. We steered away from b-movies for a while, but now we return with one of the most impressive cinematic creations of the 1980s that has unfortunately slipped through the cracks. Mike Jittlov’s epic masterpiece “The Wizard of Speed and Time” deserves to be seen by everyone. It’s a special-effects marvel that took 6 years to make, and never really got to break.

So come watch this tremendous film with us at Theatre Ste Catherine on May 2nd, for the low low price of 5$. All door proceeds will go towards Al’s summer Fringe tour.

In fact, this edition of The Alcoholic Cinema will be followed by another show at 10PM: Alain Mercieca’s Adopted at Death, as directed by Al Lafrance. And the opening act for that show will be an excerpt of Al’s upcoming Fringe show “The Quitter”. So stick around for that afterwards!
