Belgian director/co-screenwriter Michaël Roskam’s intimate gangster thriller is first and foremost a tale of intensely passionate love between ex-con Gino (Matthias Schoenaerts-RUST AND BONE), and race-car driver Bibi (Adèle Exarchopoulos, BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR). But Gino knows too many secrets, the dangerous kind that can put a life in jeopardy, as well as that of a lover’s. Gino and Bibi will have to struggle against all odds (and confront a brutal crime gang in Brussels) so that their love can survive.
