THE SHORE LINE

The Shore Line is an activist webdoc focusing on an ever more pressing issue: protecting the environment, specifically shorelines. As tourism flourishes and more and more people settle in coastal cities, bringing more real estate development to the coast, an entire ecosystem is threatened. That same ecosystem protects us from the menace of rising sea levels. The Shore Line profiles educators, artists, architects, scientists, urban planners and non-governmental organizations in nine countries grappling with the issue, highlighting the creative solutions they’re considering. By focusing on the experiences of people on the front lines, we might be able, collectively, to tackle this environmental threat.
