Pas d’Radis Fiscaux : l’État d’Urgence features arts programming free of charge, with cultural mediation activities, spaces for information and debate, and themed evenings, while continuing the tradition of promoting inclusiveness and providing services to the most underprivileged among us.

Pas d’Radis Fiscaux : l’État d’Urgence (Tax Havens: State of Emergency) takes a creative look at fraud and tax evasion on a global scale involving billions of dollars, abetted by traditions of banking secrecy, contributing to immeasurable levels of wealth inequality. Through its humorous approach and agricultural references, Pas d’Radis Fiscaux : l’État d’Urgence seeks to decry a system based on not sharing, by presenting an event that brings together a wealth of artistic, scientific and activist expression on the issue. Pas d’Radis Fiscaux : l’État d’Urgence will unite us in an entertaining, convivial manner, a first step in achieving an engaged collective awareness.

The event will also play host to the first gathering of the international UK/CAN/USA With One Voice movement for the Arts and Homelessness in North America.

Preview: New artistic partnerships with dissemination organizations will round out the programming: the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) for the movie component; Mundial Montréal for the musical component; and Les Escales Improbables de Montréal with respect to hybrid performance arts. The closing gala of the 21st Journées québécoises de la solidarité internationale (JQSI) will be part of the event's highlights, as will the return of Banquet Cochon, led by Au Pied de Cochon celebrity chef Martin Picard and his sidekicks!
