Los Angeles’s Caitlin Doughty, licensed funeral director and author of the forthcoming memoir Smoke Gets in Your Eyes & Other Lessons from the Crematory brings the live version of her beloved Youtube series Ask a Mortician to Montreal for an evening of death positivity. Got questions about death, dying, after-death care, death rituals, dead bodies, cremation and burial, decomposition, or any of the other morbid things that will or may eventually happen to all of us? Caitlin will answer them all, on stage in the intimate atmosphere of Théatre Ste-Catherine!

Because of the uneasiness some people feel in discussing death issues, questions for Caitlin may be submitted anonymously in advance by forwarding them to the event hosts, posting them (not anonymously) on the Facebook event page, or by dropping them in a basket in the theatre lobby prior to the show. For those who find death matters uncomfortable, and hell, for everyone else, drinks will be served at a cash bar.
