The Azrieli Music Project celebrates, fosters and creates opportunities for the performance of high quality new orchestral Jewish music. For this first edition, the programme will feature the world premiere of The Seven Heavenly Halls by Canadian composer Brian Current, winner of the Azrieli Commissioning Competition, as well as the Concerto for Klezmer Clarinet by young Polish-American composer Wlad Marhulets, inaugural winner of the Azrieli Prize in Jewish Music.
