SHAUIT

Shauit is an Innu artist from Maliotenam, Northeastern Quebec, who composes his songs both in French and English but mostly in his native language (Innu). He offers honest and engaged songs with a reggae/pop and dancehall sound. Shauit is one of the rare Canadian artist who mixes reggae with his mother language. He is known for his capacity to gain public attention from the First Peoples as well as the other nations of the world.
