Who was driving the vehicle that hit him as he tried to help a wounded deer? What are his loved ones hiding as they mysteriously forget every memory he shares with them? Even today, Leclerc’s foray into the psychological thriller genre stands out as a singular moment in Quebec cinema.

An intimate quest with dreamlike undertones, the investigation of this amnesiac hero—played with striking intensity by Roy Dupuis—is as gripping as it is visually stunning. Restored version presented in collaboration with the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.
