Mahé et Micheline

Music

Mahé's music pulses like a hungry heart, beating to the rhythm of an insatiable desire to live fully, fiercely, freely. Every note, every word, exudes the urgency of being, the beauty of falling, getting back up, and loving without armour. Accompanied by four musicians and her pink electric guitar, Mahé weaves a poetic, refreshing indie-rock sound. In a child's bedroom setting, she stages the different stages of childhood. Here, dreams are taller than skyscrapers, stories are told under a plastic starry sky, and hearts are filled with hope. Mahé's world is a sweet blend of poetry, music, and humour where everyone can let their flame burn bright. Embark on an unforgettable adventure to laugh, dance, cry, play with fire, kiss the sun, and become a captain. Hoist the sails, sailors—Mahé invites us to embrace life with tenderness, humour, and a touch of magic.Originally from Gatineau, Micheline has been immersed in the arts since the age of six. A 2022 graduate of the École nationale de la chanson, she blends indie-folk and pop influences in her music. In November 2024, she released her debut EP, Quand je verrai la lumière. As a queer artist, Micheline is committed to carving out space in the music industry where queerness is not only celebrated through boldness, but also embraced through tenderness and emotional depth.
