Discover "Histoires d’Invincibles," an exhibition that showcases 11 inspiring Afro-descendant figures, highlighting the importance of history and diversity.
"Histoires d’Invincibles" is an experience presented by the Round Table on Black History Month, inviting the public to discover Afro-descendant heritage through the portraits of 11 renowned historical figures. Visitors will discover the fascinating stories of individuals such as Yaa Asantewaa, the warrior queen of Ghana; Herbert Henry Carnegie, a pioneer of Canadian hockey; and Viola Desmond, an icon of the fight against segregation.
"Histoires d’Invincibles" offers a thoughtful perspective on the importance of Afro-Canadian history while highlighting inspiring figures who are often overlooked. It’s a unique opportunity to encounter historical heroes and deepen one’s understanding of history.
