Both contestants in the second season of Y’ello Zik Star, a Congolese singing competition in search of the best voices, Hendry Massamba and Floric Kim complement each other perfectly.

Driven by a shared desire to create a connection between their country’s musical heritage and contemporary rhythms, they produce, individually and together, music that resembles them and unites young people of their generation. Steeped in traditional sounds and infused with gospel, soul, rumba, hip hop and rock, their music is sometimes touching, and often funky.
