Legendary songwriter and pianist Gowan returns this November as part of the Strange Animal 40th Anniversary Tour. Gowan, surrounded by his exceptional four-piece band, will perform the entire Strange Animal album, plus classics such as All The Lovers In The World, Dancing On My Own Ground and Moonlight Desires, among others! One of the best-selling Canadian albums of the 1980s, Gowan's Strange Animal went triple platinum in Canada, and the video A Criminal Mind won a Juno for Best Video. His songs A Criminal Mind and (You're a) Strange Animal were certified SOCAN Classics (ASCAP), each with over 100,000 plays on Canadian radio. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised in Toronto, Lawrence Gowan enjoyed a successful solo career before joining the legendary band Styx in 1999 as keyboardist and one of three lead vocalists, with whom he has recorded five studio albums, three DVD/Blu-Rays and performed over 3,500 shows. Styx's most recent album Crash Of The Crown, released in 2021, reached #1 on Billboard's Rock chart after its release. Please note that the artist may invite the audience to stand during the show, which may partially obstruct the view. We'd prefer to warn you.
