Francos de Montréal 2026

A true celebration of French-language music, the Francos de Montréal festival brings together thousands of festival-goers each year in the heart of Montreal's cultural life, the Quartier des Spectacles.

Founded in 1989 by Alain Simard, Guy Latraverse, and Jean-Louis Foulquier, Les Francos is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote French-language music, encourage its dissemination, and foster the exchange of artists from across the Francophonie.

Prioritizing access to culture through a program that blends established artists with emerging talents, both national and international, the event also aims to contribute to the quality of life of Montrealers, enhance the city's international reputation, and support its cultural, economic, and tourism development.
