FIRST STEPS / TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF!
TO BE FEATURED ON OUR WEBSITE
Activities, festivals and events taking place in the Quartier are listed and promoted on our website: quartierdesspectacles.com
You must register by filling out this online form with our partner La Vitrine to be displayed. The content of your form is then automatically put online on our site.
Registration process: you must provide the following information:
- The title, date and time if applicable;
- An up-to-date description in French and English;
- A visual (200 x 200 pixels or 600 x 400 pixels);
- The discipline (theater, dance, music, etc.);
- The target audience (all, youth, etc.);
- The place where the activity takes place;
- Optional: a video (YouTube link);
- Optional: free or paid and link to ticket purchase.
*Once you have registered with the Showcase, we recommend that you return to the Showcase to update your event or activity form until it is completed.
To communicate any changes, contact the Vitrine at saisie@lavitrine.com.
For more general questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Please note that it is preferable to submit your form at least 20 working days before the date of the event or activity. When your event or activity is cancelled or postponed, contact the Vitrine and the Quartier des spectacles to remove the posting.
THE KEY MOMENTS OF YOUR COMMUNICATION ACTIONS
We recommend that you share your communication intentions with us, such as: your press releases, your announcements, your key moments or activities, main shows taking place in the Quartier des Spectacles to be highlighted, etc. This allows us to think of the best ways to integrate you into our editorial planning.
KEY PEOPLE IN YOUR ORGANIZATION
Who is the contact person if we have questions? Do you have community managers for your media? We would be happy to be in contact with them to coordinate our communications.

When your event takes place in the Quartier des spectacles and requires set-up, dismantling or sound tests, we send to more than 7,000 residents, workers and visitors of the Quartier a resident notice detailing the work as well as the dates of occupation of the event.
BLOG
We publish a blog post twice a month that appears in the Tout est Quartier newsletter. It presents the many facets of the Quartier (interviews and portraits, activity proposals, program presentations, anniversaries, highlighting an initiative, etc.). Sponsored publications are also made for the blog in addition to being listed on our site.

In french : Quartier des spectacles: upper case "Q", lower case "s".

Do not use acronyms. Always write names in full. QDS, PQDS, or QDSP should be avoided.

In a common text, the word "Quartier" used alone and referring to the Quartier des Spectacles, takes a capital "Q".

The name of the destination is not translated. It is however possible to use the expression
"Montreal's cultural district" to explain the project or to avoid repetition, but under no circumstances should it be used as a name in English.

English formulation = Quartier des Spectacles, with a capital "S".

We invite you to mention the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership when we are a co-producer or co-showrunner.

APPROVAL OF COMMUNICATION TOOLS
All press releases, communication tools or graphic material containing a reference to the Quartier des spectacles and its public places must be approved by us in order to validate the uniformity of the mentions and the application of the logo. Please forward the material to us before it is distributed or printed. We will get back to you within 48 hours.
