Pandora’s Dream
Once upon a time, Pandora dreamed of possessing a very beautiful trunk… But a watchful musician guarded her would-be trophy. Pandora had to use all of her ruse and clever tricks to open the locked trunk. What dance will enchant the vigilant violinist? And what, exactly, is inside the charming trunk? A theatrical, almost farcical piece, where dance and music flirt with each other, and reveal a flood of emotions and playfulness.
Godasse and Fadièse
Godasse and Fadièse are quite the odd couple. Perched on his stilts, Fadièse is a violinist who takes himself very seriously. Overjoyed and exuberant, Godasse, the step dancer, has a great deal of fun bothering Fadièse while he tries to practice. In their own way, each of them encourages the spectators to take their side and join in their antics.
The Company
Les Bordéliques is an eclectic interdisciplinary duo that is distinguished by the accessible nature of its works. At the very heart of its artistic process is the desire to tell a story as precisely as words can, but through dance and music instead. Using a seamless hybrid language, Les Bordéliques offer theatrical, narrative, farcical works in which movements, melodies, and rhythms are brought to life in entertaining characters and tales.
